Founder Story

Rooted in the
Mid-Hudson Valley

Columbia Tree Care has been serving the greater Columbia and Northern Dutchess county region in the Mid-Hudson Valley for over 18 years. Founded by Collin Brown, Certified Tree Climber (NETC NY613), the company specializes in the care preservation and maintenance of your trees and protecting your safety and property. When a tree must come down, our expertise in removing large trees is unparalleled.

Collin's experience is extensive and varied. He started doing tree work while still in high school. His entire background has been in the "green" industry. At SUNY Cobleskill he majored in plant science, which included landscape design, arboriculture and horticulture.

In fact, that's usually the last resort, unless there is the need to clear trees on a construction site or open up a view (which is called "vista pruning").
